The Hunting & Carpenter knife, Combo brings together two versatile outdoor knives with complementary strengths. The Hunting knife is designed for skinning and processing larger game, while the shorter Carpenter knife provides greater control for carving, woodworking and more precise cutting tasks. Together, they give you two distinct tools in one practical setup.
The Hunting knife was originally developed for moose hunters in Finland. Its 100 mm blade is well suited to processing larger game such as moose, wild boar and deer, with a blade profile designed for controlled and efficient skinning.
The Carpenter knife features a compact 85 mm blade inspired by traditional Nordic carving knives. Its shorter blade gives you excellent control when carving wood, making feather sticks and handling detailed cutting tasks around camp. Its practical size also makes it a versatile everyday outdoor knife.
Both blades are made from carbon steel and hardened to around 60 HRC. The steel offers a practical balance of sharpness, edge retention, durability and ease of sharpening, making these knives dependable working tools for hunting, bushcraft and outdoor use.
The handles are crafted from Finnish curly birch and treated with linseed oil for a comfortable and secure grip, even when wet. Both knives fit into one handcrafted sheath made from light, vegetable-tanned Finnish leather, keeping two useful outdoor tools together and ready when you need them.
Each knife is crafted, sharpened and finished by hand in Harmoinen, Finland. Natural variations in the curly birch mean that every set has its own unique appearance.
